A visit from Marc Tyler Nobleman

Daniels Run ES is pleased to announce that Marc will be visiting our school on Friday, October 12. He will present assemblies about his books and his writing process to all grade levels.


Marc is the author of Boys of Steel: The Creators of Superman (which made the front page of USA Today) and Bill the Boy Wonder: The Secret Co-Creator of Batman (which led to a TED Talk and changed pop culture history, inspiring Batman & Bill, the first documentary based on children's nonfiction). His other titles include Brave Like My Brother, Thirty Minutes over Oregon: A Japanese Pilot's World War II Story, Fairy Spell: How Two Girls Convinced the World That Fairies Are Real, and The Chupacabra Ate the Candelabra. Marc has spoken at elementary, middle, and high schools internationally (from Thailand to Tanzania) and blogs about adventures in publishing (from research victories to enthusiastic librarians).

If you wish to purchase books by the author please return the form on the back of this letter to the library with payment no later than Monday September 17, 2018. Bookworm Central is providing the books for this author visit at a discount for Daniels Run families. Any books ordered will be signed by the author on the day of the author visit. If you wish to purchase your own books from another source your child can bring these books on the day of the visit to be signed.
